Parent Support Group and Importance of Lived Experience
Supporting a loved one through eating disorder recovery can be extremely stressful. The emotional and psychological support needs for carers are often overlooked.
NZEDC has a free parent support group for parent/ carers who have family members in treatment with us. For a small fee, other parents receiving support elsewhere are welcome to join.
We have links with lived experience providers, both client and family, that we can refer to if this support is requested.
