Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Jess has struggled with an eating disorder herself in the past and has now fully recovered from it which fuels her passion to contribute to other people’s recovery and live a full life of freedom.
Jess founded the organisation ‘Tears of Hope’, which has hosted hope nights around New Zealand where people would share their stories of recovery from eating disorders to encourage people to have hope. Jess’s passion to see people recover led her to study a Bachelor of Social Work at Auckland University, during which she completed placements at Affinity Services and Marinoto West, where she used evidence based practice while working with eating disorder clients.
Jess is currently the office manager for the New Zealand Eating Disorders Clinic.
